Hi Furla,
Congratulations! I was admitted too (dispute resolution). I just got an acceptance e-mail yesterday.
Have you applied anywhere else?

Hello,
Oh yeah, The LLM at Fordham Law School is very expensive!! Honestly, I am a permament resident but It's not really worth it to borrow that much money!
I asked the admission service if there is any way to get at least porttion of scholarship but they said there is no way unfortunatelly!!
New York Law School is not very expensive as much as Fordham, but in the ranking there is nothing to compare.Fordham is one of the best Law Schools in the Country while NYLS is in the botton of the list !

For Fordham's price tag, NYU and Columbia are well worth the money.
FOR All other schools, just go any school where the cost lowest..
LLM is just one year and not that expensive comparing to JD.
Enjoy the one year and pass the bar....

Yes, I absolutely agree that it's not that expensive as JD and it will pay off eventually. So, good law school is a MUST if you want to find a good job in NYC. Although, it's probably more difficult to get admitted to NYU or Columbia than Fordham. Has anyone been admitted to both, NYU and Fordham? I even don't consider Columbia Law School, because they don't offer a part-time LLM program.

Except columbia, all manahttan schools offer parttime LLM.
What kinds of jobs are you guys looking for ?
I may open my own firm.. and will do real estate and immigration.

Yes, I know. I currently work at law firm and do not plan to leave, that's why I'm looking for a part-time program only. I wish Columbia would offer a part-time LLM...:)

I've applied to Fordham and still waiting for their feeback! NYU doesn't have Spring Semester for the LLM Program.
Anybody considering the LLM in US legal studies from The University of Connecticut School of Law? Less expensive and close to the City isn't it ?
