I know each has pros and cons. Could anyone here give me some insights on both schools' LL.M. programs? I intent to focus on corporate law. Thanks!

I would choose Berkeley. I dont know the standing of the schools compared to eachother, but I know I would appreciate my social life at Berkeley far more than Duke :)

Berkeley for two reasons: a) Better Ranked and B) Its in Silicon Valley/Bay Area - which is one of the best job markets in US after New York and DC.
Duke campus is awesome, however Durham is almost like countryside. There is not much action going on. Its called the triangle. Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh. All three combined are also nothing in terms of size and economy in front of bay area. Bay area is massive and that puts Berkeley ahead than Duke.
Duke LL.M. graduates head out to DC or NY after graduation to search for jobs. Its like a total new struggle at that point. If you pick Berkeley, you will have more networking options, and would save you tons of money on unnecessary relocation after graduation.
Bay Area is one of the best place to be at. Mix of downtown, beaches, nature, mountains, and what not.
Thanks a lot, Terkiana!
Does Triangle get the momentum in despite of the depression as the depicted by some media?
