Ciao a tutti!

Ho 25 anni e mi sono appena laureata in giurisprudenza all'Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano. Voto 95/100. Vorrei intraprendere la carriera internazionale e mi sembra di aver capito che avere un LL.M è importante. Non ho mai lavorato come praticante. Il mio dubbio è quindi capire se è bene iniziare subito a far domanda nelle Universita' americane o inglesi per ottenerlo, o aspettare almeno qualche mese' per fare pratica in qualche studio legale prima (cosi facendo riuscire ad ottenere queste due lettere di raccomandazioni).

Più o meno a quanto ammontano i costi di un LLM  americano?

E' meglio fare lo IELTS o il TOEFL?

Quando si fa domanda per LL.M è contestuale la domanda per la borsa di studio?

Purtroppo non ho molte conoscenze nell'ambito legale e non posso ricevere altrove questi consigli.

Anyway, I'm 23 and I still did not submit any application for an LLM, but I can assure you that you will certainly find the "financial information" on universities websites. If you are not able to find that kind of information by yourself, that would be a serious problem...

What do you mean by "international career"? Do you already have any international experience on your Cv? In my opinion 95/110 won't help you, unless you will enrich your Cv with international experiences and, above all, legal work...

Regarding the TOEFL/IELTS, first of all try to understand (searching on the Internet) which one fits you best...they are very different! TOEFL = USA; IELTS = UK...

My personal opinion: it's better to do an LLM after a two-years legal traineeship.
