Has anyone got email from Admissions Office regarding status update upon completion of Application?

What do you mean? If you mean that has anyone received "application complete" email - then yes (which happened only 1.5 months after I submitted my application as in got "application received" email). This whole thread has mostly been me and other people worrying about not getting it and updating if they have.

What do you mean? Hi guys. I received my application complete email yesterday, but it is written that "You should receive a decision by mid to late April". will we really wait that long to hear Cornell decisions? Isn't April too late?

Hope not. That is definitely way too late in respect of submitting papers for bar exams etc.

Just got an admission offer from Cornell. I am so happy, yet I can foresee a problem in deciding what school to attend :(

You received offers of admission from other schools as well, as I recall, correct? this might become into a nightmare. I actually thought I wouldn't be admitted to any of those top law schools, but I get proved wrong just right now.

I am in the same position as you. The only thing I regret for now is that I didn't apply to Harvard, Yale and Stanford. Now I will live with the doubt I guess :-)

I did not get an offer of financial aid from Cornell. I did not ask for any from any school, but I hope that one of them will offer it to me so I can negotiate with the others (and yes, you can negotiate over financial aid, if you show that you got aid from another school)

Friends,

I applied for cornell, duke n upenn via lsac
Duke took 2 weeks to respond and i was accepted
Penn sent me the username n pword for the application status page but never updated for 3 weeks already

Cornell has been quiet
I intend to enroll in cornell as duke is my 2nd choice before penn

What do u guys think?should i wait? Duke's admission deadline is 22.2.2013.

applied on the 14th of December, status says - Status: Verifying materials for completion

Current Status Date: 12/21/2012

for how long do I wait with hope?

Even one of my friend got accepted yesterday. However, in my case, till now Cornell has not asked for my reports from LSAC :(
