Actually it is kinda funny. I applied a month ago, and I have not yet received an application complete e-mail, and their status site still says they are varifying my documents...
Sent them an e-mail though, they are still insisting that they are varifying the material before they sent an application complete e-mail.

Oh! That is funny. And I have found Cornell to be really quick! May be its the time of the year!
I have still not received 'application complete' from Columbia! And I applied in October! They told me to give it two weeks!

It's really strange. I got application complete from Columbia 3 days after I have applied (I have applied online on December 1st). You should e-mail them!

Wow! are u serious?!! That really worries me now!
Ya I emailed them and called them too! But they don't tell us things like this on the phone or via emails! I honestly have no idea what to do about it.
Ya Cornell was the first school I applied to. I was probably the first person to apply too.. I sent in my application an hour after they opened accepting applications! :)

You should be careful for what you wish for. Eventually you will be accepted to every school you applied to, and it will be exteremely difficult for you to decide where to go :-)

same thing happened to me, have sent my application to Cornell but still no application complete email.
I did send email also to check my application status, whether they have received it or not (as advised in their web)...but also no reply.
not sure what is happening now...
