A wise choice. LLM/Kellog program is more attractive than the LLM at Cornell. I was admitted by the normal LLM program at NU and the living expense is much more higher in NU than in Cornell. So I decided to join Cornell. :P Wish you good luck in Chicago. I have heard it's really an exciting city.
To jecka: Maybe you can write an email to ask cornell about it. I have asked them and have been told I have failed in the fincial aid competation. :P Wish you good luck!

Concerning fellowships...I ve been asking them a number of times and get a constant answer that it has not yet been decided. So, I just wondered if it has not been decided generally or only in case of certain number of applicants....

As Link, I received an email on april12 and few days after a letter. I have decided to accept the offer.
About fellowship, in the letter they told me that they don't offer me any kind of fellowship and that I need to find my own financial resources.

Dear JayJohn
If I were you, I would choose the same choice as yours.

Hi Jajohn,

Hello Lion, I guess LSE is in London, right? Would you go to UK instead of US? I have heard that it quite difficult for a foreigner to be admitted to priactice and find a job in UK. More difficult than in US.
As to your questions, I really don't know the correct answers. I am also a new guy. bro. :P Many people said it's difficult for an LLM to find a job in US. But it's difficult not impossible. So we can all keep our confidence and make a try. :) I have heard there is a big job fair for LLM students in NYC every year.
I have asked a corrent LLM student in NU about the part-time job. And he told me that the study is time consuming and the job is not rewarding. So I guess a part-time job in Ithaca maybe even less rewarding than in Chicago. I have give up to find a part-time job. But you may ask some other LLM students about it.
