Hi all - is there anyone still on the waitlist as me? I am not sure whether COVID-19 makes all the process slowly... They said they will get back to us in late spring; however, it's almost May 26 today. :'(

Hi there! They are still working on the specific plan (and alternatives) for the 2020-2021 class. I think that when they communicate their final decision (supposedly, in a couple weeks), probably some already accepted people will drop out, and the waiting list could get some action. Currently, the plan is to start clases on the first week of September on an hybrid format (online/in person), and for those who aren't able to travel in September, the plan is that they can start in January and have a Spring term and a Summer term, finishing in October. I know that some people feel kind of upset with the current alternatives and expect a more liberal policy for deferrals. We'll see what happens.
Good luck!

Many thanks for replying to me!!!!! Is Columbia Deferral policy strict? Although I knew I am on the waitlist; however, given to the current circumstance, I don't know even whether I could start my semester in September as well ... (If I finally and fortunately got admitted to it
