Congrats to all who have been admitted! I was wondering if all of you have work experience? If any one who was offered admission doesn't have work experience, would you mind sharing your profile?

I heard that one person was notified that he did not receive any scholarship, named or unnamed. Has anyone received anything like that? Is it a good sign if we haven't heard? Or just a rejection under delay? Has anyone heard any positive news? Ahh the wait

I have just received an e-mail stating that Columbia will not offer me financial aid. This decision includes any named fellowships.

Hi,

I am yet to hear back from CLS. Are rejections usually sent last? Or are admission letters still coming in?

Probably in no particular order, I was rejected the day decisions started coming out (ouch) and I know a few others who were too.

Hello. Does anyone know if named fellowships decisions are out already? When they notify one about a grant, would that include named fellowship awards if it were the case? Or are they separate decisions? Thanks!

Hi, would anyone know how much interaction one gets with LLM faculty at Columbia, and what the classroom experience is like? I am particularly interested in learning from Professors Kendall Thomas, Katherine Frank and Olatunde Johnson. How approachable are they? Is there any resource which I can check to understand this more?

@Slinky maybe this info comes a little late but I talked to a Columbia alumni last year and they always said that most classes are small because they are specifically for LLMs and therefore I would say that that is a nice athmosphere. Sadly, I do not know about the profs you asked about as it is not my field of interest. But I hope this helps!

Hi all! I am an applicant to Columbia's LLM program (2023-24). I applied over 10 days ago but still haven't received a confirmation email from the university acknowledging receipt of my application, but my Law School Report has been requested by the university from LSAC. To those applicants who were admitted to the 2022-23 batch - is this delay in receiving the acknowledgement email from Columbia normal?
