亲爱的 Lexingtonzh:

ColumbiaJoe, have you had time to look into my ground-floor issue?

I called my friend this morning (I'm in DC for the summer) and he thinks that it faces the street (better view) and is fairly large (per NY standards) but will check into it today.

OK, once again: thank you!

Comments on your lenfest unit:
It is on the ground floor.
My friend's email:
"Sorry it took me so long - it's one of those thing that I kept forgetting to do. Your friend's room appears to have a window facing north, looking out onto the face of another building and with the courtyard below. In that way
it's like my old room - there's no view to speak of. Hope that helps."
Basically, you'll never have to use the elevator but you don't get a street view (or that much sunlight). The good news is that it will be quieter.

Colulmbia Grad:
I'm interested in your opinion. Which LLM specializations do you think are the most marketable? Are there certain specializations that are particularly sought after or, on the other hand, particularly hard to find a job with?
As a JD grad interested in applying to LLM program to increase marketability, I am interested in anything you may have to say on the topic.

Dr. J what is your specialty at Columbia? I've read some negative posts saying that a 'general' LLM is useless. However, I know 3 people who did a general LLM in the States and are now teaching at top tier schools in the UK.

Hi! I have got a UAH offer for Lionsgate, 1700$, one bedroom in a two bedroom appartment and not furnished.
I think that this is rather expensive. Do you think I can find something better or would it be stupid not to accept the offer!
Many many thanks!
