Hey, that's great! Congratulations! I'm surprised that despite applying under the regular review you got a call so soon!

I received an e-mail last night from Columbia Law School stating that my application is now complete and ready to review. Also, that decisions are made on rolling basis by early April.
FYI I submitted my application on 18th ofDecember, and it was received on 23rd.
Fingers crossed for mine to be completed... I also applied on 18th and it was received on 23rd. Really hope to receive the confirmation email in the next days...

I had applied on 18th December and my LSAC Report was send on 23rd December. My application isn't complete either. I had mailed them and their response was this:
"Thank you for your email. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, and each one has to be manually checked by our staff, there is some time between when you submit it, and when we receive your CAS report from LSAC. Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis, and there is no priority given to when the applications were received, so the fact that some decisions have been made does not have any bearing on a decision on your application. Once we process your application, you will receive an official email notifying you of your status."
Really not sure what to make out of it. If anybody could help me understand this, it would be very helpful. I mean, do I still need to worry that my application isn't complete yet?
Buddy! It has been one week since the date you email them. Has your application been mark as complete? I submitted on 18th Dec, and the status still shows "received" as of 23rd Dec.

No. My status is the same as yours.

They've already assured that others getting admitted will not affect my decision. Do you think I should contact them again?

I think you should wait, the same thing happened to me with other universities. I think it is normal during the process.
Has anyone had any news from columbia?

Guys! 10 minutes ago I was just going to complain about CLS's efficiency. However, I just find that my app has been marked "complete" on 1/29/2020. Finally!

Good to hear they are working on it. I think nobody from the early review stage (deferred) has gotten a decision yet (not even a rejection, as a far as I know...)

Hi, I saw that as well, but from the information on the app tracker, the person applied after the deadline, on December 30th, 2019. I believe this could have been the reason for the rejection. I was wondering if someone who applied before the deadline got rejected.

LSAC does not allow you to submit your application after the deadline. A friend of mine tried to submit hers a few hours after the deadline had passed and it did not go through. It asked her to get in touch with CLS. Maybe they are already sending out rejections as they evaluate applications on a rolling basis. I can’t imagine they keep rejected applicants waiting.
