Hi guys, feeling quite alone here as most posts seem to be on T-14 schools. Anyone here who's been admitted to William & Mary? Thoughts please? Thanks!

Hi , I have been admitted to W&M too. I also went to visit the school last week end. The town is quite small but charming. I have asked around about the school in the greater Washington Dc area. The school has a pretty good reputation because they are very selective. The student body is small which makes the professors very available for the students.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your insight, YZD. You're lucky to be able to visit. Most of my research is online/remote. Do you intend to enrol at W&M?

Yes, I intend to. Unless I get a better offer from UVa, Gtown or GW. And yourself?

Yes, I intend to as well. Hope you get your first choice. Keep me posted.

Hi! I have been accepted as well and have decided to attend. Have you both made your decision yet? I also had to do my research on line because I don't live in the U.S, the campus seems beautiful and the tuition is really low compared to other high-ranked schools but it is true that not a lot of foreign students seem to have heard of it and some seem to say the town is somehow too small and far from everything but still ... I feel this is a great school and a great environment to live in!
Hope to see you there!

I feel the same way.
A small town has its advantages. I for one enjoy the sense of community it offers. That is one of the reasons why i am turning down offers from GW and GT...big crowded cities with too many distractions...
These schools have a greater number of students and in that kind of environment, the student becomes another number, if you know what i mean.
I guess I will see u both in the 'Burg in August :)
Where are you from if you don't mind my asking?

That's great! We seem to agree on the same favorable factors, ie small class size, lack of big city distractions and affordability. Are you guys enrolling in the Legal Advantage Program?
Also, anyone else who has been admitted, please do post with your thoughts and comments.

I have enrolled in the Legal Advantage Program. I don't need the English lessons, but feel that the Law and Research classes will be a good introduction to our LLM, which I expect will be very rigorous and I don't want to be plunged into the deep end. I agree it is an additional cost, but with W&M tuition being lower than other universities' it is money that would have gone towards tuition had I accepted another offer. I notice though that on the Legal Advantage application form it is stated that it will run only with sufficient participants so I hope it will proceed.
I have also applied to live at the gradplex and hope to be assigned a unit. It is good value and one does not have to worry about setting up utility accounts and the like.
