Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of selecting an LLM program with a focus on Intellectual Property Law and would greatly appreciate your advice. I have narrowed down my options to Stanford Law School and Columbia Law School. Both schools have strong IP law programs, renowned faculty, and excellent resources.
If anyone has attended either of these programs or has insights on the curriculum, career prospects, or any unique opportunities offered, I would be grateful for your input. Additionally, any information on scholarships or financial aid options would be helpful.
Thank you for your assistance!

Hi there! I would advise to also look into other schools and to choose some safety schools as Stanford and Columbia are both very competitive and hard to get into. Not all schools are well known for intellectual property but it could be there are excellent and renowned professors working at other schools offering IP related classes :) I have also heard the ‘specialty rankings’ of schools don’t really matter much if you would want to find employment within IP. Good luck :)

I would recommend Duke, UC Berkeley, and Upenn, They have a strong IP programs. After extensive research, I intend to apply to these programs.
