the chicago PS asks for academic interests and career plans. Do we need to write about our background or work experience as well or should i just write abt academic interests and career plans.
please help!

I had written to Chicago about the personal statement and whether they expect any word limit. This is what they had replied:

"There is not a word limit to your statement. The content of your statement is not limited to ones academic interests and future plans; it is your statement so the content is your
choice and based on your judgment."

So i guess they leave it up to us as to how we go about this.
