I got 20k too ... it will, however, be a hard decision to make, since other great schools offered (much) higher merit-based financial aid/ scholarships. How about you guys ?

If you don't mind me asking, which schools have offered scholarships and at what value?

I think schools in the t-14 will give some money out but not as generous say a top 25 school. They can afford to be that way because the ratio of canditates wanting to attend is very high. Anything above 20k will be rare but perhaps a couple of candidates will get it on a given year. T-25 or 30 schools will be much more geneous and will offer candidates more money because they often struggle to attract exceptional candidates but when they do they really want them and offer something like 80% of the tuition.

I just can speak from personal experience, but all T14 schools I've applied for were very generous so far ... so I personally can not say that 20k is the usual 'limit'.

You will see that in my post I said that yes there are candidates that get more than 20,000 but it's more the exception than the rule.

Congratulations to all who have been accepted. I am planning to apply for academic year 2018-2019. I wanted information on whether Chicago is good place for international arbitration LLM?
I have about 5 years of litigation practice and I have worked on few international arbitrations matters. I wish to specialise in international arbitration? Is Chicago a good school to apply?
Thanks
