Hello everyone,
I am a french law student. I graduated from a bachelor of law (with honor). I just finished the first year of my master of international business law in Korea as an exchange student (gpa 3.9). I did an internship in a french law firm specialised in intellectual property and I also did an internship at the Consitutional Court of Korea. During my exchange i was teaching assistant in US business law lecture and had the chance to attend a phd lecture in US corporations Law. I just got enrolled in Sorbonne law school to finish and graduate from my master in anglo American business law (that's the way it works in France).
I would like to pursue my studies with a llm in the US. A former JD student from HLS adviced me to apply there. I am also thinking about applying to Columbia Cornell and NYU.
My point is : I am only 22 do you think I am too young and inexperienced to apply ? Do I have some chances or is it better to wait a few years to apply.. ? What are your advices for me ?
Best regards,

Hi,

I don't think age is a deciding factor with most schools. If you write a great personal statement and can get excellent recommendation letters, I think you would stand a chance. A lot of Ivy league law school admissions deans have blogs, I recommend checking those out.

Good luck!
