California bar may ba taken with any JD and also most LLM degrees (all?). As an LLM student, the only bars that are pretty sure are NY and CA. That being said, it is usually easier to get a job in California if you also went to a school in California (networking). Probably also easier to pass the bar. California has a very high percentage rate of people failing the bar.
