U Penn requires recommendation letters to be faxed or directly sent to the university by the recommender. However, my recommender gave the letter to me in a sealed envelope. Can I send this unopened envelope together with my other application materials to the university? Will it be rejected by the university? Is there anybody have the same experience and can give me advice on this? Many thanks.
Can I send Recom. to U Penn in this way?

I sent my recommendations myself. They were in sealed envelops, without recommendation forms and they were accepted like that.

Yes, i sent them in that way too. However, it doesn't marked as received yet. Since it is enveloped and sealed i think that will be fine. Has anybody know how long does it take to change the submission mood. Like, marked as recieved ?
