Hi,guys.I'm a chinese student with a JM major .I plan to apply for LL.M in stanford in Ip law.Will it be of disadvantage that i'm lack of work experience in law.Having experience in tourism firm will be of help?In addition,what kind of person will be bestowed scholarship ,namely it depends on what factors,economic conditions or academic level.
I've learned that many excellent persons here .Please tell me sth about what i outlined above.Thank you.

It will not improve your chances. I think that your command of the english language will also be a crucial factor.

I've been told that Stanford LL.M. is designed for people with substantial work experience. I think it would be better for you to apply, for instance, to Berkeley.

I know an outstanding student (first in class) who has been admitted to Stanford Law School with only a three-month internship.
