I am a ghanaian who wishes to study in the US. I was wondering if i could practice with the JD in my country since LLB is seen as the first professional degree in the practise of law in my country. Please come to my aid. Thank you.

hi there i don't know a lot about the ghanaian legal system, but i imagine that it would be difficult to practice ghanaian law with a JD. a UK LLB would be more transferable I believe. best ask lawyers back in ghana, as i'm sure they would know a lot more about how the system works. good luck!
