I have. And the funniest thing happened..I havent received any news from GULC yet, but Im able to log in into their admitted students website using the username and password they provided for app track. Dont really know what to think.

Hello everyone...
Congrats to all who was accepted...
I have a question... I have not applied yet, I was waiting for the Toefl exam, and now I got everything together... With Christmas and New Years going on... I really dont think i will be able to submit applications until first week of January.... I was planning to apply to CLS, but missed the deadline... I'm thinking about other schools, but my GPA here in Brazil is 7,1, that is 2,8. Im still working on my proposal... and will be done with this by Jan 15th.... Considering that the deadlines are until February, do you think I still got chances??? Or is it too late??? I see everyone got things set already... I think I spent too much time thinking...
In regard to the ranking... my school will not provide me one... triste!!! =(

Essa média é baixa pra average de gpa das pessoas aceitas nessas escolas top. Entretanto, a média realmente não é a única coisa considerada. Eu penso que no caso dos brasileiros, ngm chega lá com média A, a menos que venha de uma universidade que não seja Top Tier no país. Assim, isso não quer dizer que vc esteja de fora automaticamente. Quer dizer que para se apresentar como um candidato competitivo vc tem que complementar o resto do application. Já que o GPA não chama atenção, tente chamar pelo resto. Atividades extra-curriculares, publicações, boas credenciais profissionais e excelentes cartas de recomendação.
Também pensei bastante no GPA, pq a minha não é das melhores (B), nem minha experiencia profissional (em direito) passou do estágio. O resto eu corri atrás e melhorei tudo com esse propósito..Publiquei fora, fui eleito em executiva de associação nacional, participei desses conselhos de formulação de política pública, recomendação de Juiz, grupo de pesquisa com former Lemann Scholar (harvard), etc, etc...Enfim há alternativas e GPA não é tudo.

Poxa muito obrigada mesmo! Acredito que nao tenho tempo mais para correr atras de tanta coisa. Mas farei o possivel. Vou aplicar para outras Universidades, como a University of Miami... quem sabe... muito obrigada mesmo pela sua ajuda! Me sinto bem menos perdida. tks!
