i'm still doing research... i saw an offer to share an apartment near BU.. i just emailed them today... but it was more to canvass and see the details... cost was fairly reasonable $600 and great location... however, not too sure how good the pictures are really... haven't seen anything decent for less than $1000... will keep looking

Thanks for the info.
I am going to start searching today. If you find something decent and will need a rommate, please, consider me.

I have applied to American law program and as other applicants (probably) I received an e-mail regarding an interview. is this a normal procedure at BU or is the interview a step for some applicants who passed the first phase (the analysis of documents)? can anybody give me some examples of things that are asked? pleeeaseeee....:) thank you so much :)

Hi simina!
I applied to the Banking and Financial Law, so my experience might not be particularly relevant, but as I have heard and read on BU site, the addmission procedure to all progams is similar. And this procedure in all cases includes telephone interview. They ask common questions about your interests and goals you persue at BU. Nothing scary :). So, relax, everything is gonna be alright.
Good luck!

Hi!
the interview is very casual... from what i understand, the interview is a good sign of admission... during my interview to the american law program, they asked me why i wanted to study there... what will i do with the LLM... what are my future plans... very basic questions... and they also give time for you to ask some questions about the program... if there are BU alumni from your country, i think that they also mention the same to you so that you may contact them if you have questions about the program. hope this helps! see you in the fall!

Hi All,
I was accepted to the BU LLM Program in Banking and Financial Law. I'm from Brazil but will be spending my summer in Orlando, Florida. I plan on visiting BU during a weekend in July and also in the first week of August. My main concern in housing: I would love to live close to BU and to have a roomate to split costs and also to make me company.
Cheers!
Fernanda

Tom Tom,
Yes, they do. I deffered my admission from last year to this year. I don't think it would be a problem, but it would be better if you send them an email and confirm it.
Good luck

Hello Fawad,
I am interesting in renting a flat with someone else. I have just arrived in Boston for CELOP courses. And I am going to start searching for a flat next week.
By the way, I am from Russia, 27 years old. What about you? Where are you from? When are going to come to Boston?
