Hi,
I have received a file complete from BU saying I will hear re decision shortly. A week later I received a call from a tax professor affiliated with BU who resides in my country. He said the dean asked him to call me and give me any information I would like to know about the Tax program at BU. he called me at work and it was not a good time for me to talk so we scheduled that I will call him as soon as I have the time and we will talk or meat for coffee. I called him the next day and we scheduled to meet in my office. The meeting did not yet take place.
I have not heard that BU gives interviews for the LLM admission before.. Does anybody know what it means?!
Is is a non formal interview?
Did anybody else got such a call?!
Thanks

Hi there,
To which LLM Program did you apply?
I applied to the Tax program and was admitted. Spoke to Dean Haddad who was very very nice.
What advices did he give you?
Thanks.

Hi
I have applied to Boston Law School for their Banking and Financial Law Program. I just got an email asking me to fix a phone interview. I was wondering if it will b a technical interview or a general one. What is it that they r looking for?

They are mainly interested in three things-
1)Your Reason for choosing Banking and Financial Law
2)Your reason for choosing Boston
3)Your ability to to "fit into" the programme.
It is non-technical and extremly informal.Mr.Martin Locado put you at ease. During my interview the phone line was very bad and I had to disconect 4 times, yet he made me absolutely stress free...and I got in!!
so all the best!

Same experience with the phone interview as the above post, VERY informal, got a bit technical about my DEA thesis though, and by the end of the interview you get a sense as to the outcome of your application. I got in but still considering it.
You said dean Haddad? Haddad is very probably lebanese, same as myself, didn't know that! Of course he was very nice, all lebanese are ;)

Martin Lacdao is really good at his job. Hope you have personality. Be comfortable, but not too comfortable.
