Hey guys, I have been admitted to Berkeley and CLS and I would be happy to hear any suggestions of which school to attend - I am interested in Business and IP law equally, so there is not really a preference in this regard. Especially: is living in the bay area much cheaper than in NYC? Thanks a lot :)
Berkeley or Columbia?

What are your career aspirations? Law firm or corporate? Columbia in my view always beats out Berkeley but admittedly I'm a bit biased. The cost of living is marginally less ...a slim margin...in the Bay. But the quality of living is 100% times better than NY.

Thank you very much! I would like to work in a law firm later... as the quality of living is quite important to me I actually prefer Berkeley at the moment. But it could change the next day haha...

Hi! I am exactly in your same position. I was also admitted to the LLM/K of Northwestern, but I think UCB and CLS are better. I am still trying to decide what to do.
