Hey,
Just thought I would start a Berkeley LL.M. post.
I have applied already, but have not recieved a 'completion' email...has anyone recieved one yet?
I just sent in my additional materials on the 14th of Dec - and got an email from Berkeley stating that they have'nt recieved anything....bit worried. They were sent via Fed Ex though.
Anyone in a similar situation?
Anyone here applying to Berkeley with an interest in Legal Theory or Labour/Human Rights Law?
Cheers

At the end of December, I received an email stating that they have not received all of my documents. However, the email disclaimed: "***This notice reflects mail received through November 30th.*** Unfortunately, due to the large volume of mail we have received recently, we are not current in processing all of the mail that has been delivered. Mail received after November 23th will be processed as quickly as possible."

I received this in mid-december (application submitted by early november):
"Dear --,
Thank you for submitting an application to the Advanced Degrees Program at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall). We write to inform you that it has been processed successfully and will be forwarded to the selection committee for review.
The selection committee will make admissions decisions in February and you should be notified of your status by April. Given the large number of applications we receive, we ask that you refrain from requesting status updates or otherwise contacting us unless the matter is urgent.
Thank you for entrusting us with your application. We will notify you of the decision on your application as soon as it becomes available.

Hi,
Ye I recieved the email about mail recieved from the 30th of November. I'm guessing Berkeley staff are still on leave from the holidays, and hope they will go through their mail and find my documents when they return.
I dont know whether to email them again regarding this?
Dont want to annoy them.
Dabk - I think your app. is complete and ready for review!
What areas are yous interested in? Anyone up for legal theory/labour law?
Cheers

Yup, the entire law school shut down for extended holidays (i.e. furlough days) and won't open again until tomorrow.
