Hey guys, my name is William and I'm from Guatemala. I've been thinking about applying to Top U.S law schools next year but I'm worried I won't be accepted because I have a low GPA (2.1) cause I've been working part time since my 3 year in law school. Do you think I will be accepted if I have strong extra curricular activities?
Besides Spanish and English I speak and write fluently Italian and French (I pass de CELI and DELF B2).
I also did two summer law programs, 1 in LSE and the other in Cornell Summer Institute at Paris.
thanks I'll appreciate any comments

Although GPA is an important factor in the admission process, but it is not the only one. the admission committee, as I understand, reviews the whole applicant's package and decides after reviewing the applicant's GPA, rank, experience, personal statement and letters of recommendation. I have personally seen some applicants with low GPA who got admission to top 14 schools. So just prepare your application well and focus on the personal statement and letters of recommendation, they do help.
Hope you all the best

Thank you for your response. I will focus on my personal statement and RL, although I have some questions regarding who should write them.
I have 2 from law professors, 1 a from a NYU alumni and the other is from the former secretary of my law school, I'm thinking to submit another, this one from the president of the supreme court of my country, which is my actual employer, will this help me?
Thank you
