AU vs. Fordham

Hi,everybody!
I would very much appreciate any help I can get from all of you!! This is my problem: I was accepted by both these universities (ILS/IBT) and I can't make up my mind. I know all the rankings etc., but I was wondering if it is possible to have a certain insight from both sides.
Thank you!
I am rather new around here, so any guidance will be useful.

Hi Lexy. I think my last post was erased. But as I said, I was at AU a couple of years ago. I wanted to study Human Rights law and knew that AU had a strong human rights program so I went there. The faculty were really impressive and I was able to do the summer program with the Academy on Human Rights. I also had friends who studied business, enviorment, gender and more. Plus DC is a great city to be in for International lawyers. I highly recommend ILSP. Let me know if you have more questions.

Hi, rola.in.dc!
Thank you very much for your reply! I will take into account all you have just mentioned. It is a litle bit difficult for me because I know that ILSP is ranked high enough, but, on the other hand, my specialty is commercial/business law and from this point of view IBT of FLS seems more appropriate for my future. The good news is that both universities seem to appreciate my dossier, considering the fact that I received substantial tuition waiver(s). The bad thing is I have to choose.
Thank you again! I felt kind of lost around here. Thought people would care...I will contact you again, count on it!

I can tell you that both programs are excellent programs. I studied at AU four years ago with a specialization in International Business Law, and it was really terrific, with very good professors, interesting courses, and a library with very impressive ressources. You also have a very intense networking activity.
I think that concerning your request, you need to pay attention to a very important issue: do you want to specialize in International law, in such a case AU is the best choice, or do you plan to have a deeper overview of American law, in such a case, Fordham would be the best choice.
