Hi everybody, I'm a foreign trained lawyer who has never been to the United States. I have been accepted by American U and Indiana U-Bloomington. Deadlines are coming but I still cannot make my mind between them. I care about the international reputation since I will get back to my country for work. In addition, I plan to take the NY bar exam and try to find an internship before I go back. I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance!

Dear Travels,
I am the dean for international programs at IU School of Law Bloomington. You are mistaken about the time: if you attend the LLM program here you will begin in August and finish in the first week of May. Then you can take the New York BarBri course offered here in May and June if you choose, then take the New York Bar in July. If you choose to find an internship and take the bar exam again, you can do so the next February. So, like AU ours is only a two-semester program. I hope this helps!
