Hey.. yes i have applied to san francisco and i am the girl from india according to tota's post. :) I was lucky enough to catch Ms. Donovan here in India when she came down for a visit. I was admitted immediately and was also offered a sizable merit scholarship.

and can i ask how much of a scholarship u received?...i need to recieve one to attend as well...and want to know ur experience..also did u apply early?
tota: i applied in jan also. i got "ur application is complete" email on jan 15th and am still waiting for their decision. when did u get ur "application is complete" email?

I don't think i will be attending USF. I got through Boston and that seems to be a better option for me at this pt of time. I received a merit scholarship of 3000$ and an additional 13,000$ scholarship. In total i am getting a scholarship of 16000$. As far as i remember i applied in december sometime. All da best with ur application.. U too tota

can i ask u what ur credentials are? u graduated with top honors? publications etc, any experience being an attorney/lawyer?
i just am trying to weigh my chances of getting in while i wait :)

U mistook me.. i did not get into BU.. i got thru BC.. I am a law student, in my final year with a first class in my law course till now. No experience as a lawyer and 1 publication. But i had an advantage.. that being my interview with ms. donovan. It gave her the opportunity to look through my personal statement with me.. and to also ask me questions and evaluate me as a candidate.. Don't worry.. am sure your credentials would be better than mine.. relax.. all da best!! :)

I just received the admitted mail. So you should be getting yours as well shortly. No scholarship though, since I stuck to the instructions asking for a bank statement and that shows I have all the funds... : ( wish I hadn't, but I thought it was mandatory. Anyway, just for the record, I am still a law student, final year, worked in law firms as an intern/assistant and my grades are uper half (is this how it's called???). One publication. Atticus, i know it's the wrong forum, but what happened with ur bu interview??? How did it go? Since the Chicago thread, I feel like we've shared an experience that will bond us forever! :P

@tota- congratulations!!! u finally got ur admission.. proves that not getting into chicago was not a sign..:) As for my BU interview it was bad. they were really severe with the way they spoke and absolutely harsh n rude.. it left me shivering.. lol..

We totally have a bond.. irrespective of where we go we should stay in touch..ok?

got my admission email, dated yesterday. but b/c of the time difference i saw it when i open my mail this morning.

Congratulations psag!!! Dun worry about the scholarship. I got a mail 15 days after my admission informin me about it.. I am sure u'll hear from them as well.. So psag n tota- r u guys planning to go to USF?

well, in my case, it depends on how much of a scholarship they give me :)
if it's attractive enough, i will be attending USF with pleasure.... i really do like their program and looove SF so...
what abt u? have u decide where u want to attend? or r u still waiting for other schools to repond?

I haven't decided as yet.. I am still waiting for the NYU results.. if i get into NYU there won't be any doubt as to where i will be going.. Harvard is still pending as well.. so far i am kind of set on Boston College.. But that might just change..

I'm still waiting for many replies, so nothing's set. But S.F has the advantage that I have a job waiting for me and I know the city very well, since I've lived there for a while. To be honest though, I would prefer to go to Fordham or PennLaw. Or GW. Or BU. So, the agony goes on...
