Still waiting for NYU.... Does it mean I am rejected and will get a rejection letter through snail mail threee weeks later?
Anybody who hasn't got anything from NYU?

I don't think you should worry. Before receiving the offer package yesterday, I had received nothing from NYU. No email, and nor was I able to log on to the admitted students site. Just wait for snail mail to bring you the good news.

if this may help.. I had called up NYU yesterday. I was informed that admissions will happen thru till mid march.. Lets just wait n watch.

I haven't heard anything yet either. What did they tell you exactly when you called? My problem is that I have to accept the offer of Columbia until 10 March at the latest. Do you think, if I call them and tell them, they will prioritize my application?

Based on previous experience with other law schools, they may not prioritize your application. However, you may try if you don't want to waste USD500 for Columbia's deposit. Most of my friends prefer CLS to NYU.

There is no harm in calling and telling the schools that you have another application due on X date
I did that for two schools and had my decisions picked up earlier (well, I heard answers within a few days for both)
A third school didn't really care and told me to get an extension
