African applicants

I haven't seen many African applicant on this forum. Did any African apply to LLM in top American schools, especially UCLA and NYU. If so, kindly share your credentials and areas of specialisation. Also, any information about scholarships to African applicants will be appreciated.

Thanks

HI there!

It seems as though there arent many applicants from Africa sadly.
I'm orginally from Cameroon myself, but most of my credentials were earned in the United States and in France so I'm not sure they'd really be of any interest to you.
I am applying to UCLA, but will not be applying to NYU. I have personal reasons for seeking admission into UCLA (I lived in California for four years in the past), and from what I read, NYU is starting to lose a little bit of its shine due to the large amount of students they admit every year. In most people's minds, the more selective a school is, the better it must be...However, I hear that NYU has a very wide professional network, which you might want to consider as well.

Good luck with your applications!

Cheers!
