Hi. I was wondering if there are any particular classes that I should take (besides tax courses) that would look good on a llm in tax application. I am debating about whether I should take business associations next term, or wait until fall 09. Also, is adminstrative law a good course to take prior to applying? Thanks.

If your school has accounting for lawyers, I'd take that. Business Planning has a tax component. Maybe corporate finance as well. In fact, I think you would be well served in taking all the business, securities, tax, and UCC courses that are offered.
Just my opinion.

Thanks! I decided not to take BA nex term because the prof is kind of off-his-rocker, and he is giving an all essay exam, and I hate those; I don't do as well on them. Instead, I am taking International Business Transactions and International Finance. Normally "accounting for lawyers" is offered in the spring, but not this year, so i will have to wait to take it. I really want to get into U of Michigan's International Taxation program, so I figure that these classes should help.
