Duke seem to be sending out offers so fast! I didn't apply to Duke as I read that they dont have financial aid :(

You must have a) sent your application in May, b) stood out immediately as an outstanding applicant, or c) Duke has an army of turbo robots work through these hundreds of applications at the spped of light...or d) all of the above

i sent my application by late October, they received it early November and here it goes, two weeks after, i'm in!
i still don't believe how fast they went, i first thought it was a joke...
now let's wait for the other applications, but yes, it's def. a relief!

i'm planning on focusing on antitrust law, and possibly arbitration.
no scholarship from the school, though... so if an other school gives me a scholarship, i may consider it, instead of Duke...

thanks again for your quick reply. getting no scholarship would be troublesome for me, and perhaps would mean the same as not admitted...let's wait and see. I've applied for environmental law and policy. Hope you'll have a scholarship elsewhere, but meanwhile congratulations for this first achievement

not yet, but now I finally have my new toefl score, and I'm pretty confident they'll get back to me very soon. I'll keep you updated...let's see if I'm right this time...

sure! I've nothing to hide...I got 104 (28 reading, 29 listening, 26 speaking, and 21 writing)

I mailed the application in mid october and recieved the email confirming reciept on October 23rd. Just got the email today!
