so far 3 students for George Washington..nyone else who's been accepted here??

After reading the thread I seem to be in the same boat as a few of you. I was accepted to GW and GT and found this site while trying to make a decision between the two.
Great comments, but I still haven't made up my mind.
Both are great programs, and I don't want to make a rash decision. Anyone have first hand experience with either school?

I'd love to hear some insight (pros/cons) from anyone else deciding between the two or in a similiar situation.

Ta, as to which one to attend in order to engage in IP, i'd definitely choose GWU over Fordham. GWU is highly esteemed in IP, especially if you are concerned with specializing in Patent Law. It was a pioneer in Patent Law and by 1895 it had already made the patent for Alexander Graham Bell's Telephone. To date, GW IP LL.M. has unflinchingly maintained at the forefront of IP Law for more than a century, being considered by a significant number of the IP Society Clique as a program second to none. Also, an important feature to underline is that GW runs a four-week intellectual property law program in Munich, which is known as Europe's intellectual property capital, thereby enhancing your scope of IP outside the US. In addition, as i've mentioned earlier in a previous thread, if you study there you'll take advantage of the matchless opportunities the city of Washington has to afford you. For example, it is here where the headquaters of the Patent and Copyright Offices are situated. This asset will only add up to your acumen of IP Lore.

I've sent you out the e-mails in Win-Rar Format since the Winzip Version i had has recently expired. You can download winrar on the web for free and it takes up less than 1 MB of hard-disk space, so that the download process is quick.

Hey Guys, do you think it is inappropriate to e-mail GWU and inform them about my indecision on which law school to choose, even though a few months ago i accepted their offer of admission. I have e-mailed GWU telling the admissions office that i had recently and unexpectedly received acceptance notice from Northwestern and that i was in the middle of a predicament as to which one would be best for me. Was this approach faulty? I guess that so they can have an outlook about the likelihood of an admitted student enrollment, thereby being abler to waitlist more students who are in want of admissions.

dont think there was anything faulty in what you did..admissions offices in most univs. are used to admitted students being in such a dilemna about which univ to chose..am sure GWU would understand your situation and would not let this dilemna of yours effect your schol chances..

hello all, i applied GWU also, but i guess i'm the latest one, just submitted in feb. i have had admissions from other law schools but i'd prefer GWU. however if i dont hear from them in the next two weeks, i will have to make other choice. how long have you been waiting before you got the admission notification from GWU?

I applied last year and my application was submitted by the March 15th deadline. The decision was notified by mid-april.
I was unable to enroll last fall for scarcity of funding but, thankfully, i was awarded a deferment letter.
