hi rusneon
most univs presribe a minimum toefl score of 250. some go as low as 230 with special english language classes as required course material.
however......practically speaking....you need a minimum of 270 and above for top twenty law schools.
and if ur from a country where ur primary and legal education was in english u can ask for a toefl waiver. best of luck

Yale requirement 250, my score 293. I don't think the score matters that much if it's above the minimum requirement. It's more about your credentials, regional diversity, and most importantly, about the "fit" between the school and your own study objective.

If you meet the minimum required score published by the law school in admission materials, then toefl is not an issue.
I wouldn't speculate on any other "practical" scores as you never know what is the most considerable for the admission office in your application.

I agree with tmalmine and Igorek ; including your working experience and age. Toefl is not an issue. The more degrees you have, the better the chances, I think.

I took the iBT TOEFL in December 2005. I got 114 out of 120. Most schools wanted 100, but for example NYU aditionally specified that they want a certain number of points in each section reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Good luck.
Good luck.
