Hi all,
I am an Indian and want to pursue my LLM in international trade law or anti trust law in US. I am still studying and will complete my education in May 2007 and thereafter i directly want to join LLM.
So looking into the preference of work experience for admission in most of law schools, includin NYU, would you recommend me to apply directly or after gaining work experience?
Absence of work ex- would it affect my admission?

Without more information, that's a difficult question to answer. Work experience is not as necessary for a LLM or JD as it is for a business degree, but, like study abroad, multiple degrees, interesting humanitarian work, etc., it can compensate for other deficiencies, i.e. non-perfect grades. You could always apply now, and if you don't get in apply later.

But generally it is written on University's sites that they would prefer a candidate having work ex and that is why I was wondering whether I can apply now or later? Anyways thanks for the reply
