hello, i got admitted but have not decided yet, i have to consider several factors unrelated to the program itself.

Have you applied to the Leitner scholars program?

I got admitted too to the program but i am not sure if Fordham is a good enough school. i have heard different opinions on this issue. I have missed the deadline for the leitner scholars program, do any of you know if theres any other scholarships i can apply for?

Hi all , i was planning to apply this year but i somehow missed the deadlines. Also my TOEFL score isn't encouraging either. As to your confusion of how good Fordham is? i think that usually depends on the subject of interest .since each school has strengths and weaknesses, providing your subject of interest would be of great help as many members can guide you to make the right choice.

I am interested in the human rights field and am enroled into the international law and justice course

the thing i concern most is the chances of working as an attorney in any law firms or working in NGOs upon graduation

afterall, i am only doing an LL.M. and I heard that law firms favour JD students more?

and I am not a permanent residence in US

My ultimate goal for doing an LL.M. is to pass the bar exam then to work in the US; is this more like a wishful thinking considering the economy of us and the unemployment rate plus the massive competition from JD students in new york?
