Has anyone received any response concerning their application on the Wait List?

i was waitlisted and was admitted last friday

Ive been placed on the fourth quartile on the wait list...

Should I give up or hold on? Can perhaps any former Berkeley students who got accepted from the wait list reply?

when i got emailed that I was on the wait list, the email said i should contact them to know my ranking position after may 1st. I wrote them yesterday and was informed later that evening.

I am in the second quartile....

Is the possibility of admission low?

I'm also in the 2nd quartile.
I don't know about the chances, but they sent me an email saying that they were over-enrolled and that they didn't anticipate offering admission to those on the waiting list :'(
