Waiting List ---Pls comment--- Durham


Hi guys ,i hv applied in Durham law school for Int. Trade & Commercial Laws n thy hv put me on waiting list .I hv been told that thy 'll let me know the status of my application by 17 august and i'll be gvn Unconditional Offer if a seat becomes available.

Do i hv any chance if yes , 25%, 50 % or 75% wat say ?

Aug., I also get offer from Durham in this programme, but after I saw the modual list, I hesitated. Because many of the courses are more domestically set than internationally set, from this point, this programme is not suitable for overseas student.

actually at present i hv two offers in my hand Manchester , birminghum. i hv not applied in London uni. because of financial constraints. Durhum has good reputation n ranking n their faculty is also gud, but as u said i think i need to explore tht modules issue .

Hi Sandeep (or Mandeep, do not remember sorry). As far as the wating lists are concern you never know, there is no specific rule about it, no equation.. I will explain both extremes:
a) In my case, I was put in a waiting list in Frankfurt University, and finally I did not get a place.
b) friend of mine was waiting for more than 2 months at LSE and he got it!
So, let s see, anyway you maye kindly ask for an update of your status.
