US/UK for EU citizens

Hi guys! I've a question to EUROPEAN students: generally speaking, what do you think is more marketable in Europe, an LLM in the US or UK? I'm only thinking of job opportunities, not costs, I know that UK is less expensive for EU students.

Thanks

Hi,

Good question. I don't know for other European countries, but in France, some recruiters seem prefer LLMs done in the US.
Now, this is not the general trend. Let's say if you have the choice betweem two equal ranked UK and US law school, you will make no mistakes selecting the US one I think. However, between a good UK university and only a mid ranked US one, no hesitations, take the UK one !

Really a tricky question for sure.....

Thanks!!! So, the US univ is Cardozo, I know it's not high in rankings for the "general" LLM, but I'm interested in the IP LLM and this Univ is ranked 5/6 in the US for IP. I already have an offer from them. As for LLM in the Uk I'm waiting an answer from UCL and KCL. What do you think?

Anyway, I know it's a very different subject, but I'm also waiting from UCIHL in Geneva (Master in humanitarian law) .
