hey ..well both Warwick & kings are treated equally bt i think warwick scores on Employer part a bit more..at least word of mouth so suggests...plus intn. recognition also makes it a lil charming...anyways u apply fr the accomodation quickly as the last date is 31 july....i thnk ur priority shud be in the following manner..1) Claycroft ( it has all the major facilities including laundry, phone, internet etc. and bathroom is shared between 2 ppl) 2.. Heronbank ( i have ranked it 2nd cause it is a lil cheaper thn lakeside bt doesnt have phone in room bt a common one is there 3.. Lakeside (its the best bt the most exp).....$..Tocil..aplly fr tocil only if u r comfortable sharing bathroom between 6 to 12 ppl nd it doesnt provide facilities like laundry, phone nd even blanket ..........accomodation is guaranteed fr Int. students provided u apply be4 31 july....there is loads to discuss..abt airlines n stuff.......stay in touch

hi, Amrita & Luv
I am from India. I have got an offer from uni of wolverhampton for LLM in International corporate and financial law. I have also applied to warwick for LLM in Intl Corporate governance & Financial Regulation. Other universities i applied in are glasgow, dundee, stirling for llm in commercial law and all have accepted me.
Now i am a bit confused which one to choose.
1. First of all i am confused if comercial law or Int. Corporate & Financial Law or Intl. Corp. Governance & Fin. Regulation would be better for job prospects in UK.
2. Secondly, I am not sure if my LLM in Commercial Law from uni in scotland will help me in getting jobs in England.
3. Thirdly, which of these courses will also help me in my job prospects in India.
4. One of the factor which is compelling me to take Commercial Law in Scotland is that after my LLM i would be eligible for Two years visa under Fresh Talent Scheme which can be very helpful in exploring more job prospect and moreover i will get more time to get settled in UK.
Friends i am very much confused, please help me out.
Hope to get a response.

hi..ya have put so many questions...but ya seemed to be juss worrying abt the job...dude if job is everythin..then why don ya work in india only for two yrs..i believe llb frm india for an indian student is good enuff to getta job..infact a good job...ya don need an llm for that...thn do llm n take qltt....it'll be easy for ya to getta job in uk...plus llm is abt specialising its more academically inclined then something to just getta a job...m not saying it doesn provide job but...its more abt academics....so if ya wanna study further thn look at the modules...find out the uni wid a good reputation...good library and other facilities like online readin material n stuff...ya spending so much going to uk or whereeva...i think ya shud try to make best outta it...n still if you juss looking for job..thn why do an llm..there are other courses like cpe and lpc...do tht..it'll be much easy to getta job in uk...i cant help you about scotland...ya know the rules and visa requirements...no1 can help ya...coz ya only know ..wotya want..

Hey Atul.....Well lemme tel u Warwick is one of the best and the only univ. apart frm the Oxbridge which has nt gone out of top list.....anyways as per the new norms after the successful completion of the course u can stay bak in England fr a year...well if u consider job prospects warwick tops the list..glasgow is also a gud university..i gt offers frm City, Glsgow, QMUL ...bt i chose Warwick....if u luk at the. recognition..again warwick is much ahead....c a gud university definitely enhances ur job prospects bt u shud consider the fact tht wat if u dnt land up with a job in U.K...so go to a univ. which is globally recognised...again warwick tops the list as it is very well heard of by employers in India...u shud c the list of indian aluminis...Ratan Tata, George Fernandis..etc........nd then modules...luk wat u want to study....I definitely thnk name of the university counts....there is sumthng in the name..so if u have the option choose warwick..study hard..job will come..stop worrying abt the job ..worry abt the studies frst ...besides corporate law has a huge potential bak in India....
1.. Warwick 2.. Glasgow 3...Dundee 4.. Wolverhampton ( Dnt waste ur Dad's hard earned money...never even heard of it)
Posted Jul 14, 2007 23:15
Dude arnt ya sick of writing the same stuff agn n agn..its the best aftr oxridge!!n globally recognised!!!..chill out man!!...by doing this ya rather making it funny thn convincing how good is the uni...

arent u sick of replien....are u? well thn go take a hike..........
Posted Jul 14, 2007 23:51
i thivk d crusader has lost his mind...... he definately does not no abt the reputation of warwick..so i agree in totality that he should go n take a hike..even i hve found out d same facts abt warwick as luv here has written...so when d university is so damn gud how can one get sick of writing such things...so Mr. crusader plz accept the truth n just move on...
Posted Jul 15, 2007 00:07
huh..y ya supporting ur self luv?..neways no hard feelings...m coming to warwick too...lol..so guess no issues wit ne1...all i wanna say is..ya hav already given enuff info...so let othrs discover thmself..
plus to all the confused ppl...talk to aluminis....ask warwick ppl to give ya there contacts...ya can do tht!!...i actually gotta call frm this girl whos presently doin llm there...n i talked to her...she clarified many doubts and helped me...
coz thts the way to get best info...sitting here all we can do is presume stuff n create notions....abt jobs find out the recent pass outs thn just the big names...lots f colleges hav big names to flaunt...so find out what the recent pass outs doing...it requires a lil search..but aint tht tuff....
at the end of the day its ur judgement...and what you want to do...then some1 elses opinion...
plus how gr8 is warwick n all tht...shud hav been discussed at the tym of applicatin...i believe we applied to unies after proper research...n not randomly....
and if its abt choices....then ppl...i don think this forum can help much...unless ya find old students or profs for guidance....
so the best way is talk to the unies ya'v gotten thru...mail them...call them...n figure out urself....
n i do not intend to hurt ne1s emotions...
