Hey Jackoune,
I am at the moment studying in Edinburgh the LL.M. in Innovation, Technology and the Law.
The program is one of the most interesting as you have the luxury to personally choose all your subjects from a real variety of courses. That way, you have the chance to modify the LL.M. according to your personal interests and your future professional goals.
The program is really demanding as far as the quantity of the material that you should study for each course each week. Also, you should be aware that the taught hours per week are really few (3 coursesx1.5 hours / week).
Meaning, the program is really self-taught mostly oriented.
Another significant element is that every single area of IP / IT is covered, together with medical law. That allows you to study everything, but as you can realize yourself, you will not be able timewise to study everything in depth!
There are no exams, only written assessment throughout the semesters.
Edinburgh is a beautiful city with many students and i enjoy living here!
I was also chosen by other universities last year, also from King's,but i preferred to come here, because it was cheaper than London.
I hope i helped!
