I have been offered places in both UCL and KCL for the LLM in International Commercial Law. I am realy inclined to choose UCL, but have seen people criticizing the course, although it is higher ranked than KCL.
Bearing in mind the course I am taking, which of the uni is a better option?

well, I was exactly in this dilemma months ago. I have offers from both UCL and KCL. But after I researched further and ask those people in the legal circile in London, they told me much depends on what field of law one wants to specialise in. UCL is definitely one of the best, if not THE BEST in the country for corporate courses. Their corporate courses are just excellent, far better than KCL. As for commercial law, I guess it is equal. KCL have got some good commercial law courses too. But if I were you, i will go to UCL cause all things being considered, notwithstanding the criticisms in the past for less than impressive facitlities, they are the best in terms of teaching and I guess that is what we are paying for - the KNOWLEDGE.
