Have a look at each others website and see which lecturers you prefer, which facilities you prefer, where you would prefer to be etc.
There is very little between UCL and KCL- neither will significantly outweigh the other in terms of prospects- and they are, obviously, in the same city so just do your best to work out which you would prefer. Good luck!

Hi,
I studied at KCL and can confirm that the Criminology faculty is outstanding. Most of the professors previously taught at Cambridge and then moved to KCL to form their own faculty. It leans towards the left-wing side of Criminology but the teaching is superb. All of them are on the boards of professional bodies and criminological societies and have been involved in high profile inquests around the country such as the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry (you can google it).
The faculty is:
Elaine Player
Mary Vogel
Ben Bowling
Penny Green
and others; those are just the main ones who are incredibly intelligent and very highly thought of in their field.
Please do not hesitate to message me if you require any more information.

My Criminal Law professor at the Uni has written :
'Anyway KCL has the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies. Very active and that would tip the balance as far as I am concerned'. Any thoughts?

so choose KCL , both (KCL-UCL) are excellent but ...money :
KCL Home/EU: £ 7,900 , Overseas: £ 12,380
UCL Home/EU £8,480 , Overseas £13,750
A penny saved is a penny earned :)...

I have already done it but what if the names does not tell you anything really?

Which would YOU prefer? What are YOUR opinions?

Now, after my own research and what I have been told by the professor in Criminal Justice from my current Univ (University of Kent) I would most likely go for KCL!

Great choice, looks like a wise decision from what you have said so far! Best of luck!

I'm currently doing the criminal llm at kings - it really is great. If you've done any extensive reading as an undergrad you'll've heard of norrie and richardson. great. smallish classes (i've had no bigger than 15, although I've heard horror stories about human rights). Honestly - this is my second time through KCL (first time different subject) and am really enjoying it.
