Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well! I am an international student who is planning to apply this weekend to UCL. I have everything ready except for the written work which I need to review it. Do you think it's late for me to apply to UCL? I know that this is "the" university, but also I am aware that the deadline is end of April 2022. What are your thoughts? Appreciate your good vibes!

Has anyone that recieved this email from UCL admissions either gotten an offer or an rejection? I just recieved this right now:

"We wanted to get in touch to confirm that we are still considering your application. Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications we have received we may not be able to provide you with a decision within the next two weeks. We are very sorry about this as we know that waiting for a university decision can be an anxious time."

Hi all, my portal changed this morning  to "currently being processed by admissions." I applied around 13 February (including submitting my reference) to the general LL.M. program and received that "we're still reviewing your app" email over two weeks ago. 

Additionally, I've been told that UCL was on Easter Holiday for the last week up until this past Tuesday, and that has slowed LL.M. application review down even more so than normal. So please don't worry if you haven't gotten a status change yet.

Thanks for the update and wishing you the very best of luck! My application was complete and submitted on 21 February, but I received a proof of payment email on 4 March. My portal still shows as "under assessment". Hopefully not too much longer to wait for a decision (I must admit that this waiting game has not done good things for my productivity at work - that "Log back into Portico" button is now seared into my mind).

Just to provide some info for those who are still waiting. I just received an offer on 5 April and I have until 9 May to accept/reject. My application including reference was submitted in full on 14 January 2022. Maybe the next batch of offer will come after 9 May. In my case, my colleague received an offer earlier in March and he had until 4 April to accept and my offer came right after that.

Hope this is somehow helpful as I just signed up for this!

Hey major congratulations on your offer, I wish I could say the same. I am still waiting "under assessment", I applied on the 10th of February, the same period as you but for the LLM in international commercial law, I think there different centres reviewing our applications. Again congratulations!

I applied for the general LLM... so perhaps the delay on your application is due to different people / specialists in the department reviewing it? Based on what people have said in previous years, it sounds like the admissions team might be able to give you some insight if you give them a call, so you could consider doing that if the waiting is too torturous! What country are you from?

I applied on the 10th to a specialisation and I haven’t heard back from them yet, congrats! (I am also an international student) 

yes, that is what I think. Quite possibly it is reviewed by others and perhaps in this case, by those in charge of the centre for intl. commercial law. unfortunately they told me not to contact them since it would’ve delayed the decision process, Again major congratulations AlexandraR!
