Hm..but what about when your academic results are not what they asked, but slightly lower? I presume that in such cases, it takes even more than 3 weeks for the papers to be sent to the Faculty, for the Faculty to consider them and make a decision, for the papers to then be sent back to the BoGS..etc..
Do you think that being awarded the full scholarship by the Cambridge Trusts gives me now a better chance in that respect? (my average is 9.65 instead of 9.70)
thanks on your opinions on this!

I keep on getting posts relating to this thread even though I served 2 "Notices of Discontinuance" on LL.M. Guide. If there's a moderator reading this thread, could you please put me out of my misery and stop sending me updates relating to this particular thread. Many thanks.

I sent my academic results and a formal letter regarding my academic condition around 15th May. It was subsequently forwarded by the BGS to the Faculty of Law for consideration. I have been waiting for almost two months now... I guess things will speed up from the end of July or August.

The exact same thing has happened to me.. Still no news from the Faculty..

I think you can turn off updates by clicking on the link at the end of the email. It worked for me. Looks like you can also turn off updates here: http://www.llm-guide.com/account/lastboardposts

Has anyone been able to contact Mrs Suzanne Wade in the past week? I have emailed her a couple of times but received no answer And nobody picks up her phone If someone knows how to get in touch with her, please tell me
I have e-mailed her more than 3 times since June but never recieved an answer. Phoning was also impossible. So I sent an actual letter by post this morning! Maybe they are very busy thesedays..

I understand if they were busy in june, but not one single reply from Miss Wade after over 10 days of July?
I understand that they are receiving a high volume of emails, but I also think that being this ineffecient is quite unprofessional for such a prestigious institution.

It's really frustrating... Still wating for my CAS. It now has been 7 weeks since I provided my passport and the turnaround is supposed to be 1 week... :/

I have to say Im terribly disappointed with the University Everything is delayed and it is almost impossible to receive any reply from whatever question we ask I certainly expected more from them..

I know this is disappointing, but I am sure there is a reason for this mess..
By the way, has anyone taken the English test with the Cambridge Language Centre?

Hi cantab2011,
I just found this site. My IELTS was bad, so I will most likely have to take the assessment test... Have you already taken it?

Yesterday there was a new massage in my CamSIS.
"Your IELTS test result has been referred to the Law Faculty, as it is a litte below the standard they require."
Is it negative or positive? Should I take the assessment test?
In my case, the overall minimum score was met, and writing and speaking scores were achieved at the different tests.
Anyway, now it is mid July...

hey, guys!
Just wanted to know, how long does it take for Camsis to get updated after all the documents (regarding fulfilment of conditions) have been received at the University?
I need my certificate of admission in order to finalize my dealing with finances but Ms Wade isn't answering...
Take care!

Well.. I have asked this exact same question to the Graduate Admissions Office and heres what they said:
We have many hundreds of documents to process at the moment, and to be fair to everyone we deal with them in the order they are received. Please keep checking your self service for updates.
As for Ms Wade.. It kinda hard to get in touch with her.. Keep emailing her and youll get luck eventually..

In May it took them 3 weeks but I would expect that it may be a little longer than that now that everyone is sending their documents before July 31

Hi Guy,
I got my offer conditions 2 weeks ago, one of which was a language assessment. I did that, and had my interview this morning on telephone (last phase). Result: Recommended waiver of language condition!!!
Last and biggest hurdle; Funding.

Hi Letty,
Well, that raises some concern because I did my assessment just on Monday 25th n got a mail to schedule interview on Tuesday 26th. Maybe u do them a mail to find out the status of your assessment. In any case, the first send u a mail to schedule a phone interview then call. It was towards the end of the interview on phone that the interviewer informed me they'l recommend a waiver for me.
