I am from Brazil, but didn't get an offer yet.
When did you apply? What are your conditions?
I've applied on Nov 21, 2010. I haven't received the formal letter, in which they will inform the conditionals for me: Financial conditions; College membership; English language conditions, and documentation. So, my main concern is College membership, since I've already obtained the required grade in IELTS.
Good luck!!!

Anyone's status changed to sth like being recommended an offer and pending BGS approval? Apparently this is the next stage after the email from Ms. Wade...

Congrats to all the Aussie, Finnish, UK, South and North American fellow applicants who have received their offers! :)
Has anyone from the Balkans or Eastern Europe heard from Cambridge yet? I am sort of starting to lose hope... :(
p.s. OK_Computer, I had a good feeling about you being admitted 100%. Besides, the fact that you were as much as CONSIDERED for a Gates scholarship speaks for itself. As far as I understood, that was a clear indicator that you were highly ranked by the University. Congratulations!

Hey, no news for me (Slovenia).Believe it or not ;-), my hopes are also diminishing by the day :). Even more so as I only applied to Cambridge. But nevertheless, I decided that my backup plan was not another LLM, but a bar exam in the early 2012. Still, the agony of not knowing the decision annoys me most.

Congrats, nomos! :)
I know exactly what you mean, dolharz... Unfortuately, I have a feeling that the only thing I will ever hear from Cambridge will be the change to my CamSis status in April. And not a very merry one indeed.. :(
sigh..

Hello everyone!
Holly, I am from Croatia and didn't receive anything from Cambride... However, a friend of mine who was in Cambridge last year told me that she had recieved her offer on 8 March. Till then, I will try not to be too disappointed
Hopefully, Cambride will soon remeber us from the West Balkans & East Europe...
Congrats to everyone with offers and good luck to those still waiting

Thanks for that comforting piece of information, Steeler!
It is indeed astonishing how little one needs to start hoping again :) The ability to never lose hope when it comes to applying to Cambridge is either oh-so-pathetic or oh-so-praiseworthy...or a little of both :)

Good morning everyone,
Best congratulations for all you have accepted.
I would like to ask here one thing, even though it is quite late to mention. I heard that it will be extremely hard to get in LLM especially when you have no working experiences, which apply to myself. However, purely based upon academic perspective, how much GPA will be considered to be enough?
I will appreciate your help. Cheers.

Nope, no change at all. I think that'll be in April then... ;-) (at least judging by the time it took them to send the offers...)

Given that no one has heard anything today or yesterday, and assuming the University is following a pattern, we should have another round of acceptances tomorrow afternoon (UK time).
EVerybody who is still waiting to hear good news...concentrate your mental energy on that goal starting now!

Hopefully!! I am beginning to get pretty nervous now. Really thought I'd hear back in February and here I am, still excessively checking my mails with no sign of THE mail. Also wish I could tell my professors some good news after pestering them so much about references...
Fingers crossed for tomorrow afternoon! :)

Do you think that if we haven't heard anything by now we will not be selected? It seems like there was a rush of acceptances and now nothing. :( I also applied to the BCL I think those results should be out soon, but don't know when.

Dont despair JaneJane. the acceptance pattern so far has been twice a week surges of acceptance email (with the exception of last week including some emails being sent on saturday, which I attribute to Ms. Wade having been on vacation earlier in the week). Today is only wednesday, and its not even afternoon yet, the time when emails typically start to be sent out.
All that said, if I dont hear by the end of this week im going to start to be concerned, and if not by the end of next week im going to start filling out my application to clown school.

Again, any asian news?

Hey guys!
Just a quick note that ususally 300-400 offers are made - and most of them in March or later. So no need to worry if you haven't heard anything yet. I know from brilliant lawyers which only heard back from Cambridge mid March last year.
Good luck to everyone!!
