Hi all,
Just a silly question, I've just finished my Bachelors in Business and due to spending a year in the same town as my Uni due to personal commitments (The wife.) I was considering doing an LLM, as my Uni stopped doing the GDL.
I was wondering if anyone could advise what the route to becoming a qualified legal professional would be presuming that I did a business undergraduate followed on by an LLM in international law?
Apologises for the long rambling post and Thanks for any advice,
Vern.
Silly question.

It depends on a lot of things, and would depend on the country you want to practice in. Many countries have bar exams, for instance. You don't necessarily need an LLM to become a qualified legal professional.

LLM wont help you become a lawyer. Its just an academic qualification which helps you to specialize and deepen your knowledge. Nothing to do with qualifying you as a lawyer. Plus i have never understand why everyone choose a course and all of a sudden they decide to start the GDL after.
