I just called the admissions office and told them my problem. The lady I talked to said that she will inform someone from Admissions Team C to search for my e-mail as I passed the IELTS and the scholarship deadline is next week. So hopefully I will get a response soon and my offer will be set as unconditional.

I would recommend you to give them a call too, as you also already passed the IELTS, to speed things up.

Hi everybody,

I completed my application about 2 weeks ago. When logging into the online platform of QMUL, I only see my application type, program etc.

However, I cannot see where my application is at, there is no 'status' mentioned, unlike with UCL, LSE or King's. Is that normal? Will I be informed by mail when a change is happening?

The last email I got was when I paid to application fee, confirming that my application was complete.

That's totally fine, you will get an e-mail once they have made their decision. It takes approximately 3 weeks, I got my offer about 20 days after submitting my application.

Do you had to pay an application fee? Never heard of QMUL demanding a fee for applicating

Oh might be that I paid at UCL etc. than, I applied to all of them the same day, so I might have mixed it up.

I have a question about the Queen Mary application :

The referee who accepted to recommand me prefers to send the Letter of recommandation directly to QM for confidential reasons.

I know that this is possible but in my application online i can't submit my application without uploading the LoR. (because it is a requiered document). Should i have to upload another document instead in order to inform QM that my referee prefers to send them directly the LoR ?

Foozz: I uploaded a word doc with information that the reference has been sent by..... from e-mail adress... I think it should be ok.

I had another problem - it was not possible to upload more documents for one filed. E.g. I wanted to upload transcripts, diploma and state exam certificate for the first field. But it seems that online application form accepts only one document (always that one last uploaded) for one field. So I sent them an e-mail with all documents, I hope they will accept it.

I submitted my application yesterday (19.2.2015). The deadline for submission of the scholarships application is on Sunday 1 March 2015 , but applicants must have an offer of study before applying for funding. There are only a few days to review my application, I hope the admission team will manage it so that I will be (hopefully) able to apply for scholarship.

Concerning your problem, i have a solution : you can use PDF creator or a website (http://smallpdf.com/fr/fusionner-pdf) in order to merge your documents. Thus, you will be able to upload the documents you want in one.

Foozz : Actually I thought it was a stupid solution (to merge documents) so I did it like described above. Bad decision, but I have already submitted my application form, so I think I should not / can´t change anything now. But I uploaded the most important documents. The rest was sent in e-mail.

HEY guys, I have a condicional offer from Queen Mary, I have emailed them one week ago, but have not heard back from the admissions office yet about the infos I asked on my email.

I am also thinking about asking for a extention of my offer acceptance, Do you think this could effect the decisions of a possible scholarship? and also, how much was the deposit they asked you guys to pay?

Another question would be... Who has applied for the scholarship? I am so freaking nervous about it :(

I sent them an email more than a month ago, asking for an extension, just like you're planning to do. They didn't even bother answering me, so if I were in your position, I would send them an email, but I wouldn't keep my hopes up in hearing from them any time soon...

Edit: removal of any dates, go figure...

They are very busy with emails at the moment. I've sent them my IELTS results in january and didn't get a response for four weeks until I called the admissions office. Two days later my offer was updated.

If you guys have an urgent query, I would recommend to give them a call. It is the quickest way.

I have just received an offer for competition law LLM! It's conditional, but the condition is based merely on my grade on a diploma which I'll get in 99%. It took them 23 days since the confirmation email to issue the decission.

Just to let you know - my grades have not been remarkable, even slightly below the entry requirments for my country, but I have submitted remarkable (in my opinion) LORs and have done two internships in magic circle firms during my studies, so it might have helped. Don't be shy and apply guys :) All the best!
