Nottingham is always ranked better, but do not forget that QM is part of the UoL and you can take classes at King's and UCL. Therefore, I would not only look on the ranking but also to your fields of interest, the costs etc.

didn't know that... thanks for the info! One question: you can take the classes, but your degree will be given by the university you've enrolled with, right? So, if you've enrolled with QM, despite the classes you take at UCL or KCL, you'll get a QM diploma, right? Or is it still possible to get a UoL degree? I reckon it's not, but since I was wrong once, I might as well be wrong twice...

I'm not sure about that anymore...if you visit the websites, U get a University of London degree with the name of the Uni...so QMUL, UoL....but you got me confused now...hope that i did not misunderstand anything...

It's just that I've read that at least UCL has been granting its own degrees now since 2007 thats why I gather the intercollegiate LLM programme is no longer running anyways, considering your friend is currently at UCL and I wont be there until September 2010, I assume he/shes got more inside and updated information

I just received my daughter's degree certificate (for the class of 2008-2009) a few days ago from QMUL. Yes, it is a University of London degree but with a sub-heading: "University of London: Queen Mary and Westfield College" [QMUL's chartered name is "Queen Mary and Westfield College]. My daughter is continuing her study at another university.

The colleges all offer their own degrees - if you go to QML you will take QML classes. Its several years since the combined London LLM existed as a reality.

congratulations kenan. Both of them are reputable schools as I'm concerned. By the way, would you mind telling which university you're graduated from and when? Besides, could you inform me about your transcript average? Thank you.

My friend still is able to go to KCL and QMUL classes, although he is at UCL right now...

Where a university does not have the full range of courses, there are opportunities to take courses at other colleges, but as QML has 105 modules, you're spoiled for choice!
