QLTS x LLM

What is the best thing to do if you are a foreign lawyer who wants to work in the UK as a solicitor? Do an LLM first and then take the QLTS exam or the other way around? I ask that because most people I know did an LLM first, which helped them to get a job - even as a paralegal, and because some people say that you should just take the QLTS exam if you are already working in the field and if your job pays for it.

As far as I know, an LLM is not a requirement to appear for the QLTS.

So if you have a LLM from the UK and you've cleared your QLTS.
Does it increases your chances of getting a job in UK?
